OK Here's what happened.

Dragonhawk boss in Zul'Aman. Boss summons egg hatchers. I run over and drop a Frost trap in the hallway. Shortly after my trap disappears without the AoE slick, or the slowing effect. This has not happened before, so I am curious if it was because of our brief change.

Normally we have a druid tanking the hatched dragonhawks. This time we had a pally tanking the adds and casting his AoE... I can't remember the name of the spell.

Is it possible that it was a glitch or do you think it was designed that way?

I have had traps dissapear on several seperate occasions. One in particular was a frost trap that stormpike in av stepped on, it said "resisted" and the trap didnt do anything but dissapear. Now it couldve very well been a resist to my arcane shot, or serpent sting, and been coincidental timing, but I found it quite wierd.

Hey, Snakebite, I know you ingame. When your frost trap was resisted in AV, it wasn't one of your shots, it was the trap itself being resisted.

Edit: There are 4 70 hunters named Snakebite, are you the one on Altar of Storms?

Yes Dustmane I'm the wonderfulmazing Snakebite from horde side AOS who still thinks you need to LEVEL to 70!!!!!! I still havent got to see you any any instances and would like to soon!

Anyways, the trap didnt lay down the aoe slick like it normally does, which i thought was wierd, because i had seen people trip the trap, and resist it and walk thru like it was nothing, but the other 2-3 behind them got slowed. Maybe its different for NPCs and PCs?
