i saved a "wishlist" item set in warcrafter. been experimenting around a while and i was wondering what you guys think of it.

Ill be changing my trinkets according to the situation. The unshown alternatives being bloodlust brooch and the abbacus of violent odds.

I havent put any enchants on my daggers in the sandbox.

What makes me wonder the most is my choice of gems. And my gloves.

Ofcouse the case of my wastewalker shoulders vs bladed shoulderpads of the merciless is still pending.

Only kara, heroic and badge lewts are being considered by me here. i humbly ask to follow suit.

Also what are your thoughts on the riftmaker from COT?

also iam not sure whether warcrafter calculates item sat values yet. so thats +35 from wastewalker

Both T4 pieces from Kara are miles ahead of your helm and gloves.

The other badge necklace...Choker of Vile Intent, is actually worth more AEP than Brooch of Deftness.

Chestguard of the Conniver and Skulkers Greaves are better than what you chose.

Romulo's Poison Vial and Bloodlust Brooch are both better than either trinket you have.

Bladed Shoulderpads of the Merciless over those shoulders.

I'm not sure about the ranged weapon, but I know Xavian Stiletto is one of the better ranged weapons for rogues in Kara.

Oh and Garon's Signet Ring is better than Thousand Marks, as is the Violet Signet of the Master Assassin.

Edit: I would also consider changing your spec around to somehow get 2 points in fleet-footed. Currently Cat's Swiftness is considered to be the best raiding enchant for boots, and having Fleet-Footed is like giving yourself 6 agi AND a larger run speed increase, since Cat's Swiftness is only 8% and you can put Dex on your boots instead.

Also don't ever socket for AP. Red sockets should be Agi/Hit until you are hit capped, yellow should be 8 hit. Also don't ever socket for crit. 8 hit gem > 8 crit gem, until you are hit capped. So basically about 3/4 of your gems suck.

Red socket = 4 agi/4 hit
Yellow socket = 8 hit
Blue socket = 4 agi/6 stam

I'd disagree. Cat's is a good boot enchant currently because people can't get FF and still maintain top DPS.

So you don't think there's anywhere in his spec he can drop 2 points to pick up FF?

I looked at it yesterday and thought I saw 2 points he could drop, but don't remember what they were now.

Oh, we're talking about Mut PvE.

Here's my question:

WHY ARE YOU MUT IN PVE?

To answer the question though, you can drop 2 points in Imp Poisons to grab FF.

Why not... it's fun and viable?

Because combat swords performs much, much better?

It's not like weapon availability is a problem.

The difference isn't as big as you make it out to be. Combat swords is definitely easier to play (not that either are "hard"). A competent rogue can still remain raid viable using mute/combat.... they'll do plenty of damage to justify their spot. It wouldn't be the smartest thing to do if your guild is absolutely banging their head against hydross or void reaver... but after you get that easy mode trash down there really isn't anything that's poison immune. Swords is definitely the number one build, but that doesn't mean that all other builds are not viable for raiding (some are... but most rogues wouldn't go into a T6 raid with shadow-step builds anyway).

Gruul? Gruul the dragon killer?

Why do they call him the dragon killer?

Because he Kills Dragons Avi!

[related to the fact i mentioned my guild doing gruuls in another topic]

Umm I'd like 3 items for now:
t5 helm
Arcanite pistol from Al'Ar
Cloak from ZA 1st time chest

Then I'm pretty much set for t6 content
