so i do a ton of research when im bored as hell, and before i get into this i gotta say to all of you. You all rock. I'm looking through these forums so damn much that ive picked up on a few things, i actually go around silently scrutinizing the 70 rogues on my server. Thinking "wow this idiot is speced hemo daggers. How the hell can i know more about this class then a 70" (im at 49 atm) i realized it was this forum.
Back on subject. I was planning on PvP mostly at 70 and maybe doing alittle raiding if i find a guild that will take me along, with a combat swords build. I was going to start by grinding BGs off the muti sub build i was going to lvl with starting at 55. Then when i get S1 maces and gear i was going to go combat maces and start arena with that. But ive picked up that ShS hemo is far better for it for the mobility and the ability to outdmg combat with some decent dmg weapons at the cost of some extra stuns to shut them down.
Is this info correct? And is the general "better" gist of arena builds these days Combat Maces or ShS hemo? If i did go hemo would it matter if i went maces or swords, id rather go swords so i could switch between raid and PvP without having to get another set of weapons each time.

You can go either way. Many people get swords, and spec between Shstep for pvp and combat swords for raiding.
Others, who don't like Pve, get maces. Then they switch between Shstep and combat maces depending on what team they are with.
Mut is limited. I like mut. It only works on specific arena make-ups, and it falls short of ALL the full combat builds as far as raiding dps.
For you, I would recommend swords. Then you can Shadowstep for pvp and combat swords for pve.
