I've been trying to create a macro that takes me outa shapeshift HoTs myself and then goes back into the same shapeshift. Is this possible?
I know alot of you might call it "easy button. just press the 3 buttons urself!" but i'm mainly gunna use it wen the healer isnt looking my way (ant-newb healer/breakdown macro perhaps?) or if im out in the world and i get ganked right after i just kill something or if more than a few things get pulled i might have the slighest chance..

also, any other macro that works great and is very useful would be great.

Because healing yourself triggers the GCD (Global Cool Down), you can't shift out of form, HoT yourself, and shift back with 1 button. You'll be left standing there in caster form for 1.5 sec until you can shift back to bear. What you can do is shift, drink a health pot, use a healthstone, and shift back with one button.

#show Super Healing Potion
/cancelform
/use Master Healthstone
/use Super Healing Potion
/cast [nostance] Dire Bear Form

Substitute whatever level health pot and healthstone you have in your inventory, and bear form for dire bear form if you're under level 40.

ok good to know. is there a macro that you can shift from form to form? or does that give a GCD too? I am not yet 20, but i would rather just find out the macros instead of trying to figure them out because I am not good at creating them. The only macros I ever really created were /equip and /target ones on my other characters. I never really saw the need to do so otherwise. Plus, on my shammy the only thing i would thing about making a macro for would be totems, but those give GCD too.

Ya don't need one. With patch 2.3 they made it so you can shift instantly from form to form with a single click of the default UI button.

For those who like keyboard shortcuts, I found out recently thanks to installing Bongos, that forms can also be accessed by hitting CTRL+F#, where F1 is Dire Bear, F2 is Aquatic, and so on.

How I levelled to 70 without learning that, I have no idea.
