I was just wondering how I can bind 3-4 totems into a single macro
Which are the commands for placing totems and which are the names?
Or an direct link to a forum or site which explains it would be nice

here is an example:
/castsequence reset=5 Strenght of Earth Totem, Grace of Air Totem, Healing Stream Totem, Flametongue Totem
this should work although it may need you to also put (Rank #) after spell but i can not recall.
anyhow you can shift click spell and put them into macros so it really is not a problem, you just put in /castsequence reset=# (5 works good here) and then shift click your spells in putting coma and space in between each spell.

You don't need the spell rank in the macro. It will work just fine with just the exact name of the totem.
I use a macro just like this on my ele shaman.
/castsequence reset=10 Wrath of Air Totem, Totem of Wrath, Mana Spring Totem, Strength of Earth Totem
If you do it without the totem rank, when the expansion comes out and you level up and get the new rank of each totem it will cast the highest rank you have trained.

do cast sequence automatically place all said totems down or do you have to continuously click to set each one?
You need to click the macro once for each totem in the castsequence macro.
It still means 4 button clicks, but now you don't have to have 4 different totems hotkeyed.
If you are still levelling, I would put the 2 totems you use the most as the first 2 totems in the macro and only drop those 2 totems unless you are going to be able to setup camp and pull mobs to your totems for the full 2 minutes.
As I've said before, totems are the hallmark of the shaman class, but dropping 4 totems for a 1 or 2 mob pull is horribly mana inefficient and will have you drinking every other fight.
