While planning my build to 40 i was looking at stormstrike and my question is does it work with 2h weapons along with DW or is it only DW?

Stormstrik is just an extra attack with your weapon(s) so it will work with a 2h as well as DW.
yay, that helps a lot. I was getting worried because of the tooltip description, did I just read it incorrectly or is it worded badly?
StormStrike ToolTip: Instantly attack with both weapons. In addition, the next 2 sources of Nature damage dealt to the target are increased by 20%. Lasts 12 seconds.
That is taken from allas own spell lookup thingy.

It's just worded extremely poorly.
On another note, you will be much better off taking Dual Wield before Stormstrike. Duel Wield is a much large DPS increase and Stormstrike works so much better with Dual Wield than with a 2h weapon.

nice to know. I am also twinking at 49 so I needed to make sure buying Kang the Decapitator along with Bonesnapper and Smashing Star of the Bear was a good choice. Kang is mainly for crits, and DW is as you stated for DPS. Cheers guys its a big help
Right, its the wording. It gives one extra attack PER weapon, so if your using a 2h then you get one, but dual wielding gets you two
