So, as it is now, you have people yelling that winning in BG is more important than HKs because of diminishing returns. Actually, the only reason many players defend or use any kind of strategy at all seems to be this lone reason: Winning is more important than HKs for honor. Taking the towers, defending the nodes, etc all result in more net honor than just going out and killing constantly.
Also: Don't know about you, but I don't generally die 50 times in the BGs. Which makes that part inconsequential. It would be far easier to find some newb and keep on killing them 49 times than defend the Blacksmith/IBGY etc.
So won't these changes make the BGs an HK free-for-all? Will there be any incentive for players to continue defending a position when plentiful killing will garner more honor (even if that gain isn't real and only perceived)?
And won't this make new players avoid the BGs because they're constantly getting PWND?
Or maybe I'm missing something? I'm not that smart.
