Dragons are more intelligent than the other races on Azeroth. They are not beasts. Ergo, no you can't tame them.

though one can skin them. So go figure.

I don't understand your logic at all

They are too intellegent to be considered beasts
They aren't beasts, so they can't be tamed.

...They are too intellegent to be skinned?

It's pretty common throughout all of medieval fantasy that dragon scales can be used to make armor. It makes sense that skinners can harvest scales from a dragon's skin.

Yeah but it makes absolutely no sense that a dragon the size of Onyxia or even a little whelp will only have ONE scale, or none at all when you skin them.

Maybe you only decide to take one, amidst all the many, because they're all so freaking big. Imagine carrying all the huge scales that covered Onyxia's body!

Although, it would be funny to see a raid group in the middle of blasting shots at Onyxia, only to watch her suddenly shrink and stand next to a hunter in the pack who just tamed her. Really just for that moment. Other than that, the idea of being able to tame dragons is a dumb idea.

Imagine carrying 5 bags full of stuff, including a 28-slot mining bag with 28 slots full of ore! Heavy? Take up a lot of physical space? hmmm.

It's just a game mechanic, it doesn't have to make real-world sense.

lol Yeah, I know. The hunter also needs to be the one who has the mob's aggro, if I remember right. I considered that beforehand and knew it made the scenario impossible. But it was ridiculous enough to make mention of.

Also, I'm talking about tame pet, not mend pet. Noob Smiley: jester
