only 5 badges away . . . /cryFollow

The back bone players of our guild finally got fed up with the lack of people who show up on time for raids. They left the guild, the GM then went emo and disbanded or booted everyone or what not.

So no more raiding for this Ret, at least untill the planets line back up again.

And i was 5 badges away from Dory's Embrace.

you may think i could just do a Heroic or something, But my server has a passionate hatred for Ret pallies. /2 spams as much anti Ret as they spam Gorehowl. and if you dont know what Gorehowl spam is, just think Nuck Chorris on barrens chat. . .

Edit: trying to link that item, but my computer wont let me hightlight my text!!! Bah, nor will it let me use the URL feature . . boo!

ret paladins are great to have, unless you've spent the last 30 minutes "LF2M tank and healer"

a friend and i play prot pally & holy priest. ret paladins are always welcome in our groups. but the best times are getting a druid healer + ret pally & going "HOLY DPS FTW!"

Dirge on our's. God i hate that weapon. Spawned from so many people trying to sell it, then the reaction of why would anyone buy someothing so pointless (because of arena weapons). I'll admit it was funny when i saw the dirge enchanted with 40 spell damage, but then it went way ott.

Hope you manage to find a decent prot pally to pair with, prot + ret = ace.

Have you talked with the other refugees from your ex-guild? Let the other backbone players know you still want to group with them if they're ever in need of DPS.

I will prolly talk to them after a bit,

as of right now, i figured this would be a good time to take a few weeks off of WoW to catch up on some Console releases.

Thing is, im a pretty casual WoW player. i was always one of the first to get invited to go if i was online, but i was never expected to be online. but at the same time, i didnt need any gear from it anyway.

after looking around, they all pretty much joined the same guild. and there is a good chance that due to the reason they left. this guild will not be quite so casual.

of course i wont know untill i talk to them. we get along great. and they often try to embarace me infront of non guildies by saying im the best Ret in the game (thanks to Tommy and ToJ). So i know they will be willing to try and talk my Ret-ard into the guild.

Its just Hopefully they let me stay on as a casual raider, see'n as Rets are oh so necessary slot holders /sarcasm, i dont think it will be a problem. 8)

For the longest time, this was ours:

I must say as a Prot Paladin I really wouldn't mind having a Ret around, to increase my own DPS/threat ;) For 5 mans: myself, Shadow Priest, Ret Paladin, Resto Shaman, and Mage would be oh so sexy :D

Warglaives on mine.

Elementium Bar on mine.

I think that's the best because you can make jokes out of it.

"A Rabbi, a Priest and an Imam walk into an [Elementium Bar]..."
"The other day I went down to the [Elementium Bar]ber to get my hair cut."
"Favorite D&D class was the [Elementium Bar]barian."

It's endless.

Yeah, me and RP get treated to a constant barrage of Warglaive spam in trade channel.

Unless they get bored and start with Warp Splinter spam...
