A few more questionsFollow

So, I had a few more questions, and I was hoping the sacred Warrior Forum could shed some light on a few topics.

Armory

First and foremost, how the hell do I get up to 12k HP unbuffed? I have squeezed every last point of stamina from my gear, and I still come up a bit short. I'm fine on Defense and avoidance, I just can't seem to get my bloody HP's up. I plan on grabbing a few more +stam enchants, but I doubt those can boost me past 12k. Any suggestions(gear replacements, enchants, etc)? I'm all ears.

And second, is about another tank. Well, to put it as bluntly as possible, she sucks. A little background. She started off as the MT in our guild, and when I joined, I was placed as OT, which is just dandy. However, it became increasingly obvious that she couldn't keep up with me in the threat meters, nor could she survive as long as me. Gradually, the guild silently placed me as MT, and bumped her down to OT. They always asked me if I wanted to tank something, and if I refused or wasn't on, they'd reluctantly grab her. And thus, my problem: she hates my **** with a passion. She's become a lot more aggressive when it comes to being chose tank, and she's rather snippity with me. She often appeals to the guild (when I'm away) what I do that she doesn't. They don't know, because they haven't tanked a day in their life. But, I know. While she's packing some nice HP, she is heavily lacking in Def, her spec has some rather useless garbage in it, and her technique is complete ***** And, I'm willing to bet quite a sum that she won't listen to a damn word I say. So, how would I go about informing her what she's doing wrong, so she can try and correct it? As a tank, I know it sucks to be called a shotty tank, and most of us will become rather defensive (no pun intended) when called so. I don't want her to hate me any more than she does now, and I don't want to poor girl left out because the new guy took her spot.

Her Tank

tl;dr moad:
1. HALP HP's D:
2. How do I inform a tank that she sucks, and why I got MT over her. Also, how can I help her out if she won't listen to me.

Cheers, hoping the warrior forum can pull through for me once more.

In regards to you, you simply need to gear up more, and socket for more stam. I see gems like str which are no for tanking, but I also see you going for set bonuses that are mostly not worth it. Tiny amounts of dodge and parry, hit, STR in your boots. Keep in mind that you do not need to socket to match socket colors. You can put 3 blues into something that has 1R1Y1B, and you'll just lose the socket bonus. Your ranged slot could use an upgrade, even one of the green of the champion sorts, though preferably a khorium destroyer. It's relatively cheap to craft. Go get the ring from Harbinger Skyriss in The Arcatraz. First things that came to mind.

We can give you advice on the other tank, but honestly, it's not going to do much of anything. I could point out her spec flaws: not having imp. TC, for having Unbridled Wrath, for not having 1H weapon spec, no Last Stand, or imp. Sunder, no imp. HS. Having imp. defensive. Her gear is a mix of DPS gear and tanking gear, and the majority of her tanking gear is crafted which means she didn't have to not suck in a group to get it. She's using a threat weapon while below 490 defense. The fact that she's below 490 defense in and of itself is a cardinal sin. She hasn't socketed her damn helm, for christ sake. All of these things can't be pointed out, but posts like this genuinely don't solve anything. That tank will continue to be bad, because they're not striving to get better. They're just doing what they think is right. You can point them to guides, but she sounds like the type that won't look because she thinks she's right all the time, or will just not look because others want her too.

My suggestion? If you're looking to do serious progression, she needs to go, or you need to find another guild. If you're just in it more for fun, and are willing to put up with her being bad occasionally? It's probably not going to be the end of the world, and you'll be able to avoid her for the most part. Unless you're in a raid, it's not like you're going to have two prot warriors in a group.

If you replace all your red and yellow gems with blue +12 stam, you'll have over 12k.

I was a fury warrior at first, and threw away most of my tanking quest rewards. Thought I had a hard time of getting past the required Heroic/Kara stats.

Not true.

I farmed cash for a few weeks.

- Bracers of the Green Fortress
- Helm of the Stalwart Defender
- Gauntlets of the Iron Tower
- Lunacy Deck
- Furies Deck
- Gyro-Balanced Khorium Destroyer
- Nethercleft Leg Armor

All those are available for 300-1000g each if you plan your buys at AH properly. I know that sounds a lot, but it's pretty easy to farm 200g+ an hour with a decently geared fury warrior because of victory rush + mining, which you also have.

Getting a few drops along the way also.

It's a lot about how much crap you're willing to do for items, really.

there's a pretty good way to do it actually. I had a similar problem at 60 when someone was mt'ing over me and i actually wanted to tank (I know, what was I think right?)

I assume (and hope) that your guild uses omen or KTM threat meters. Take a few ss's of you doing more TPS than her on average in a fight.... or just steal aggro from her and hold it on yourself and then call her out on it. You can of course, talk to a few officers in the guild and show them your side of the story and have her talk to you... or you can try to talk to her through the officers.

If this keeps up while you guys still need that 2nd spot you can somewhat look forward to people taking sides and the guild splitting.

Unfortunately, the whole

" I don't want to poor girl left out because the new guy took her spot. "

really has no room in this argument. If your guild wants to go somewhere, a good tank and solid off tanks are just about the most important pieces when it comes to raiding. If she's not skilled enough to do it, she has no room in the raids. If with more HP and etc. she dies much quicker than you (and obviously doesn't realize ANY class mechanics at all) that is a problem. Don't try to be overly cautious here, it's obvious to see that she doesn't have much clue to waht she is doing and really doesn't have any room to talk crap to or about you.

can also tell your officers and her to come visit here and have a chat with us.

The main question is though... how are the 2 worst warrior races for tanking the main tanks ;)
