Yea.. it takes a smidge of getting used to it eh? I hope you're having as much fun, or more than before. That's the big concern. It sounds like it's working out much better for you in instances.
Keep pushing the limit while soloing, not so you can go "^^ZOMG RNT AI GAWD?!?" but so you learn what you can take. Once you find that right number.. you can be sure reckoning and redoubt are up most of the fight, which is a big deal.
grats on 62, btw. Keep at it, almost there. Hellfire and Terrokar are so amazing for Protection, but you might find the trip to Zangarmarsh a little.... strange. Good luck.

Ah, once you get to Zangarmarsh get yourself into the Slavepens and pickup the Spellfire longsword. It's a pally tanking sword that will last you almost all the way to 70.
You'll be competing with the other caster in you group for that sword. Set aside some time for multiple runs. You'll need it

I got the sword thx. Took 6 runs, but i got the sword, cape, chest, trinket, leggings.
Ran underbog x2 got the leggings there.
