Being a paladin kicks *** sometimes.

Off topic edit: That is one attractive UI. I like the health/mana bars set up around your character. Well, I'm assuming that's health and mana. (Me = total UI noob.)

Go go BPT!!!!! (Broken Paly Thing) Take a skinner with you, unless you are one, that = profit :D

It's fun going there with someone that hasn't seen it before.

Paly: "Stay here, I'll be right back."

New Guy: "WTF, where's he going?" Paly starts running back, trailing mobs "AAAAAAHHHHHHHHHHHHHHH!!!!!!!!!!! WTF????????"

Paly: starts Consecration "Ok, you may kill them now."

New Guy: *faint*

It's also funny when you bring an a new tanking Pally to BM.

"Go run around and grab all the beast mobs - just avoid the guy standing and casting a spell"

Pally runs around and brings back a bunch of mobs. His health starts dropping rapidly. So I start to cast a Holy Light, thinking he is gonna Consecrate.....

no Consecrate....

Holy Light hits, and all mobs run to me. AHHHHHHHH! I bubble...complete chaos ensues. Everyone scatters....yet, somehow we came out alive :)

KoT are fun instances :) Like a breath of fresh air from the standard "pull a group of mobs" instances.

STILL OFF TOPIC:
Looks something like ArcHUD (curse gaming). I tried that once... gotta say, it has some very nice options/settings to play with and is very user friendly. But I couldn't get used to it. Putting more colors/bars in my screen (I tank with enemy health bars showing [V key]) was just to noisy for me. My habit of looking up to the top all the time for "target of target" and my own health/mana was easy enough. Maybe if I got myself a wide screen monitor... /hmmm...

A UI I would really like (if it exsists) would be something that places a mini icon/name (like Blizzards "target of target" icon) on the enemy health bar above the heads (from the [V key]) IF it is not you. So if you see an icon appear on a health bar... click+whatever you do will be much easier & quicker. Anyone ever hear of something like that?

Try Aloft - it lets you customize those nameplates quite a bit. I know
it includes an option to only show some of them (for example you can
only show enemy nameplates), but I'm not sure if you can get it to do
exactly what you want or not. That option + grid is what I tend to use:
grid for friendlies and nameplates for enemy.

Hope this helps...

Awesome, I'll give it a try! Even if it isn't what I'm looking for your post did help.

Thx!

And your running around avoidance is why I'll never be able to solo all that. (98% my god).

I checked earlier and he was wearing better armor, I think. More more HP, much less block rating.

Yeah it depends on what set of gear I have on when you armory me. It ranges from my heavy-melee-defense set which bulks up to just over 100% combined dodge/parry/miss/block (and rather shameful hp/mana and spell damage levels) down to my boss/threat set which drops a lot of block rating and value to pick up a ton of stam, pure avoidance, and spell damage.

For a pull like this, you can't rely on Holy Shield to keep guys from hitting you. Passively unhittable, though, you have a much greater control over your incoming damage, and can take on a lot more mobs all at once.

On a side note, the poison from the spider is a proc from their melee attacks, so you'll never get poisoned if they can't hit you.

EDIT: My current armory shows my Garr tanking set, which is the one that's just over 100% towards uncrushable. The changes I made for the Black Morass farming were swapping the Sun Eater for Crystalforged Sword (need some sort of damage to actually kill the mobs) and swapped my shield for the Petrified Lichen Guard, for more AoE type damage.
