I use Outfitter. I like it.

The other one I've heard of is ItemRack.

Voila.

For setting up simple 'click on outfit' >>> BAM I'm in tank gear >>> BAM I'm in dps gear, etc it works great.

The thing I dislike about outfitter is that my attempts to set up weapon swaps for bear/cat/caster forms failed.

If you hit bear form (and you have outfitter setup to swap weapons based on forms) and outfitter swaps in earthwarden and you die while in bear form in a BG or the likes, outfitter doesn't register that when you raise you're not immediately in bear form any more. So the addon will still think you're perma bear until you actually go into bear form and pop back out of it at least once after a death for this example.

Annoying, but it definitely works great and would definitely reccommend it over not having anything.

I just don't recommend using the form swaps unless you like or can put up with what I just described above.

As for itemrack, I've never tried it... any pros/cons that we can list from the perspective of those who've actually used it?

Maybe you can help with this other little frustration. I want to have a few items always equipped in BGs...my trinket for one. I set up a "Battleground" set but when I shift forms in the BG it swaps my gear to the complete "Cat" or "Bear" gearsets. Any way to have it equip the trinket and leave it alone while I'm in the BG even as I'm shifting.

The other challenge I overcame for BGs on my own was wanting to sometimes shift without swapping gear. So I can be in cat form but wearing my bear gear. I have it now so the default "shift" doesn't automate a gearswap, but I have secondary shifting macro that does shift. So I can shift with or without a gear swap. Handy.

With the new Outfitter, you can set outfits to be disabled for BG's etc - so this hsould be able to be sorted.
