Looking through the rewards from Magister's Terrace, I came along a very appealing
tanking trinket. wowhead.com/?item=34473, Commendation of Kael'thas. 57 Stamina (Amazing with just that, highest stam trinket in the game), but the effect of extra dodge when <35% is very nice imo, especially with Ardent Defender. :)

In a 5-man, no less.
It's roughly 9% dodge when it procs, originally it was 20% but for some reason the ability to have 30% less damage and 20% less chance to be hit was considered slightly OP. Even at 9%, though, it's still a trinket I'll be grinding for with my pally.
I'll be grinding for that as well, but I came across another drop from her that peeked my interest:

I'd never take it over a Lock or Shadow Priest, but if it works with Seal of Vengeance, it could be a very nice trinket indeed for an Alliance Tankadin, at least in some situations. Thoughts?

Possibly, however I would love to be stacking a Goblin Rocket Launcher + Commendation, or Commendation + DMC:Vengeance if I get it.
Suppose that works: if you're an Engineer :P
I think the threat boost could be a real boon though in certain fights, particularly ones that require multiple tanks and the Paladin may not be the focus of whatever it is they're fighting (VR, Grull, etc..).

I really had mixed emotions about this trinket when I saw it. It's awesome and I want it, but I saw it the day after I got my last card for vengeance and now I wish I hadn't spent all the time/money to get the card I'm likely going to replace as soon as 2.4 hits. (Although, I guess once I get my avoidance a bit higher I can replace my dodge trinket from moroes and run with both.)
