Ok it's getting late and I've just closed down WoW, but something is itching...
Due to all the Ret fuss going on this forum and some nice discussions and faqs I really want to try out Ret again. But I'm now lvl 65, Holy, with just healing gear. So normally I should start collecting Ret gear again, but I also need to collect healing gear to be able to do instances at lvl 70 again. Please advise, is it worth the effort?

nah, wait until 70, you don't need to stretch yourself tooo thin trying to grab 2 complete sets, especially since you are going to want your flyer asap. If you really want to do it then go ahead, I think it's just easier to get the gear for 70 once you actually start doing the 70 instances.
Yeah, it would require extra effort and ontop fo that I've just cleared Ring of Blood quest chain and now I'm all into healing again. thanks anyway.
