I was listening to a WOW Podcast and one of the hosts had a toon on the PTR and he mentioned that icy veins now ads an additional ability to avoid spell interupption if you take dmg while casting. Has anyone else seen that? If it's true, does that mean that Arcane is now totally done as a viable raid spec? I ask because my guild is just getting ready to try the timed events in Zulaman and we have almost gotten Gruul. I'm frost spec'd right now but I'm switching to fire to raid in the higher level dungeons so I will need to assign new talent points.

This will also have a big impact in arena. This means 1 if not 2 extra frost bolt shatter crits.

T4, 2 pieces. Eliminates pushback totally on Fireball and Frostbolt.

Scorches are quick and usually aren't affected much for me.

To answer your question though I have not heard anything.

Yes that is true it will, instead of adding the extra frostbite proc % instead give you a 100% pushback resistance but will stil last only 30 seconds.

Not sure what your asking about arcane raid viability.

I would not give up 2 pieces of PVP gear to wear T4 in PVP.

Also this way on the PTR patch notes, but I just checked again and that change in particular is gone.

Anyway the point of playing a PVP mage is not to get hit in the first place (or at least keep it to a minimum). So you shouldn't be in a situation where you're eating big hits and trying to cast through the pushback.
