You may find that, although you are getting your *** handed to you left in right solo, it's a big enough improvement for your raiding stuff for you to stick with it.
You won't find that you are getting your *** handed to you with any solo content with this spec.
With this spec I can solo anything up to 2-man group quests, some 3-man group quests. To put it quite simply, anything you would need to solo or could solo with the spec he is using, is just as soloable with the cookie cutter spec.
Just covering the bases here. They have a concern that a change to their spec could get killed more often. I am acknowledging that as a possibility but that they should still try it and if they find it
really doesn't work for them, they can always change back. Sometimes it seems you guys forget that often when you change talents around you have to change your play style as well. I also agree that none of the suggested changes look like they would be a big change of play style which is
very nice. Going from MM to BM (or vice versa) is a huge change in play style but this looks fairly insignificant.
I agree that there is a reason why these do become "cookie cutter" specs and I think we can agree that is because they do work. I don't know how popular it would be if it didn't.
I was almost all MM in my mid 30s (maybe I had hit 40.. seems a long time ago). I read how BM would be vastly superior to MM leveling up. I read that.. I comprehended what it said.. but simply reading it didn't make me feel that much more comfortable about trying BM. I told myself that I would
try BM and if I didn't like it I would go back to MM and never think of BM again. I did switch to BM and am still BM now.
