Garr - solo'd!Follow

That's right, I'm BACK!

Bolstered by my recent victory over High Priestess Arlokk, and lured by the possibility of a Thunderfury binding, I went to Molten Core. The goal: Slay GARR!

Now I know what you're thinking. 1 Dwarf Pally vs. 1 Raid Boss + 8 adds just isn't fair! I was just too lazy to run around and pull more adds though so 1v9 it was!

After a short lava bath and a few invisibility potions (a.k.a. the commute to get to him), the great Garr and his 8 minions were engaged!

After a fairly unimpressive button-mashing battle that lasted an actually impressive 95+ minutes, GARR DOWN!

As you can see, there were several bubble+bandage periods, as well as an oh-crap-the-adds-are-exploding lay hands.



No thunderfury binding, but I did manage to get a lawbringer helm. :) Maybe next week! :O

Yeah I could have used a bit more block value myself. I was blocking just over 600 damage off each hit, but he was still hitting me for 50-200 damage a pop.

On a side note, an interesting tidbit I learned, Garr's Enrage from detonating his adds actually will wear off in about a half hour.
