I have been a regular reader for a while so thought I should introduce myself. I have one main character which is my Level 70 Hunter (BM). I am not a very technical player although like everyone else am anxious to play as well as I can where it will improve my enjoyment.

I shall impart a recent experience of mine for your whatever and as a means of laying the path for lots of queries, that aren't covered in the fantastis pre-raid gear post already I hasten to add.

Been visiting SL on a regualr basis to get the Sonic Spear (not sure how to do links yet). Well it finallly dropped and I was wooping around the room as there were no other hunters in the group. I needed then looked to equip it straight away but it wasn't in my bag. Confused, I then scrolled back up on the action test to find that the DPS Paly in the group had also needed and won it 'because it's better than my current wep'. I wasn't sure of the whys and wherefores of thie but man i was aggrieved.

Next day I visit SL again and am sure that no one in group could possibly need the sonic spear except for me. So we get to Murmur, who I have never had a problem with and the group wipes 3 times!!! We then go for one last try and my gun breaks with about 10% of his life left so I am forced to melee as one dps is killed. We kill Murmur just after I die but of course I dont release as am waiting for loot. My son then unplugs his ethernet cable from the router and guess what? yes I lose con. Anyway takes about 5 mins to get back on and I come back to life to find the group has just rolled and I missed out on you guessed it the Sonic Spear. I guess im destined never to have it.

On the brighter side my first run in a Heroic yesterday, Boanica, and I got the singins crystal axe and boots of the endless hunt.

Funny how life is sometimes.
