Ready for the expansion?Follow

I am thinking which gear would be the ideal for the expansion..Most of us will be full epic when the expansion come..and we probably would keep this gear until lvl 74 or 75..So raid gear focus on AP or PvP gear focus on stamina..Both would have some disanvantages..
With raid gear you will have many intel.., mana per second and Hit rating which i believe would be total useless in quests.(you can **** and drink, and most of the time you will fight mobs same lvl with you or at least 1 lvl more)
With pvp you will have resiliance whici is total uselless in pve..
From my experience in BC expansion i am thinking that stamina would be the most important thing for us to level fast!

You say most will be full epic by the time the expansion comes but that i doubt very much , for me even though i have a level 70 and am still doing quests and grinding for my epic mount i doubt i will ever get fully epic gear as i hate PvP and dislike spending hours trying not to die in groups that i do not know and most instances i get invited to are late at night when i need to get up for work.

To aim for something before it comes out seems crazy to me as you may find like with outland all your gear is useless and needs changing very soon , i have spoken to many and they all say they will wait and see what happens and are just collecting better gear they need now , they have all said they are just doing what they like best be it PvP or instances or just plain fun with solo grinding rep and getting quest gear like i am.

Well... 2.4 is still only on the PTR, and there's no word on when it's going live. It's bound to be several months before WoTLK comes out. So I don't even know why you're thinking about it now.

From my experience, hitting like a truck and having a pet which can somehow hold hate is the important thing for leveling fast (and more important doing quests for which you don't need mobs which are camped and doing a ton of instances has been the key for leveling fast in TBC).
I never really needed a ton of HP. Killing things fast reduces the need for stamina :-)

On a sidenote. I really hate it when people start wondering what will happen with the next expansion, whether there gear will be worthless, whether it is worth to still raid and things like that.
Don't raid or pvp for the gear. Play the game to have fun, not to have the most uber gear or something like that. Of course I can say that since I have a lot of purples (I think I could equip two to three addtional hunters in purples *g*).

Bragging isnt QUITE the same as ego :D

I think stamina will be one of my lowest concerns when grinding to 80, though on a pvp server, it could be different.

I completely disagree. AP, int, and mp5 keep hunters grinding the easiest. just think of all the times you farm for motes.
Also, since we are going to be grinding to higher levels, and according to my play style, ill be loving that +hit that i never had before i hit 70. I almost always grind on mobs at least 1 level above me... its more exciting :D

In addition to the key stats, T5 2 piece bonus will be nice for grinding too. Ill be usin my Darkmoon Card: Madness and that pvp reward that grants mana on attacks as well.

Hehe, I smell an inflation of sidegrades in a lot of instances (and those nice shiny purples which might be a tad better in another spec and such).
