Last night i created my first druid (Kuhe-tauren druid on the crushridge server) and I am loving everything about it. alot easier than when i created a warrior. But anyway, I've read the manual and it says i need stamina, intellect, spirit, strength, and agility...which are every stat....I am mostly going for a DPS type of toon. tear away at enemies but also be able to cast stuff like starfire and tranquility and hurricane.

i know that feral is the way for lvling but for what I'm looking for, what stats should i mainly be looking for?

moderate stam with low intellect but high spirit with high agility and moderate strength?
Also, any gear in the early instances (WC through ulda) that seemed to be a must have when you were running the instance

You need the stats particular to your spec. All druids will want stamina (ferals more than others), but feral druids will want str, agi, AP, crit, and hit (more str/agi/AP while levelling and hit when 70), for balance/resto you need int, spirit, mp/5, and for balance you also need spell hit, spell crit, and damage. Dont forget +heal on resto.

As to the instances, go to wowhead.com and look up the gear, it's changed since most of the 70's in here went through.

As has been mentioned, if you're feral, focus on sta, agi, and str. A little int and spirit (maybe one piece mixed in) can be nice for solo leveling. If you are interested in doing instances as you level, it can be helpful to collect a set of healing gear (int, spi, +heal, mp5) for when healing is required. You can do this cheaply by saving quest rewards and drops with these stats.

I'm willing to overlook your choice of Horde on account of the George Clinton inspired username. Welcome!
