Now, just hypthetically, what would have been the upgrade for Whispering blade of slaying and claw of the netherwing flight for muty? In heroics and kara?
The obvious decision seems malchazeen and the emerald ripper. But between my blades and those, iam sure there are suitable daggers in heroics too. Anyone know of them?

The weapons in heroics are still only 71.7 DPS and aren't worth farming for. You could always grind honor for 2 of the MH S1 daggers since those are 91 DPS.

Wow, if you don't know please refrain from posting. Yes there are 2 'epic' daggers that drop in heroics: 1 in heroic Ramps and the other in heroic Arc.
And yes Malchazeen is higher dps than the Gladiator's Shanker.

The one from Heroic Ramps isn't worth squat in a Mutilate spec. Go for the one in Heroic Arc, and the Ripper from Kara, then replace accordingly with Malc.
