2.4 patch for healers?!Follow
Well I recently got up enough badges for the trinket Essence of the Martyr. But now I'm being told to save my badges for 2.4. I've seen some good gear posted that is going to be coming out...but I haven't seen any potential trinket upgrades. Have any of you guys heard anything about them or should I go ahead and get the Essence?
As far as i can see there is no new badge trinkets in 2.4. The only questions is do you raid? and at what level?
I'm assuming you mean for your second trinket slot, because with the change to spirit-based regen, EVERY priest should have a Bangle of Endless Blessings in the first...

I do some. Kara and ZA regularly, with some Gruul's, TK, and a little SSC thrown in.

No new badge trinkets. Thing is, Bangle of Endless Blessings is better than Essence of the Martyr... and will be MUCH better than EotM post-patch. Trust me on this, get the Bangle.
ok, i'll shoot for the bangle. i assume that post patch the bangle and the earring are going to make a good combination?
Ah was gonna suggest the earring, that thing is outstanding. I think the patch is actually going to make things like the bangle less useful, since most priest's mp5 will go up anyway. My mp5 while casting went up by over 30 just from the new spirit/int buff. I like the fel reaver piston myself, I like having the constant mp5 instead of waiting for the bangle to proc.
Just all comes down to preference, mine is to stack mp5. I also use the earring when i'm out of the 5 sec rule to gain back a crap load of mana.

Nah, the Bangle will be even better. I get 70 to 80 mana/5 from a Bangle proc now, raid buffed; that'll be more than 125 come patch day. Plus, it has an on-use that has great synergy with how priests play.
