Shield Slam and 2.4 :: Free Realms

So I noticed that the T6 gear set now has 8 pieces in it for 2.4. Theoretically, could you get 4 pieces of T6 and 4 pieces of T4, then stick the new 10% bonus to SBV gem into your helmet? The T6 bonus would give you an automatic 10% bonus to Shield Slam, while the T4 should give you a 10% bonus to your next damaging ability after you use Revenge (obviously in this case Shield Slam).

If anyone on the PTR has access to some of the new T6 stuff, I'd be interested to see what happens if you test this out. If it works like I think it does, I foresee lots of 10k+ shield slams on the horizon. Being able to one-shot almost any class in PvP as a prot warrior would be pretty freaking funny.

Yes, it is possible to have both set bonuses. To be honest, +10k SSs have already been put down, the record being help by Ciderhelm at the moment. Something like 11k. The situation needed for those kinds of hits are extremely staged though, and will continue to remain so. You can still actually cause some damage with a good PvProt build, but it's doubtful we'll be 1 shotting anyone with SSs anytime soon. Even clothies are pushing major HP in PvP gear now.
