This is a fair build I guess... For gear: Browse sites like Allakhazam, WoWhead and Thottbot.

At 29, hunters are by far the most overpowered, thanks to the master hunter gear. If you're good, your only real 1v1 worry should be a lucky gank by that twink rogue you repeatedly chased down earler.

2 new ring options with recent patches

http://www.wowhead.com/?item=9461 (of the monkey)

The master hunter's bow is now equal in stats to the rifle, so pick your favorite between those two.

As for builds, survival/MM seems to be popular with the better hunters I've seen, since it's better against twink rogues (also popular at 29). MM is fun, and seems common with noobs and informed glass cannons alike. Personally, I'm fond of Marksman + Hawk Eye, but that's just me. Aimed Strike is useful now, but only when your opponent is getting heals/is sheeped/etc...

It's also useful to have a few extra pieces of gear for certain situations. You can cut back your stam in favor of more dps/int when you have a healer, and that pure dps set isn't as shiny when you somehow end up being the flag carrier in a Warsong Gulch. While a fiery Corpsemaker (http://www.wowhead.com/?item=6687) is horrible for ranged dps, it's better than butcher's cleaver/sentinel's blade when you're melee wing clip spamming on that pesky druid flag carrier. Hell, you can occasionally beat more twinked/skilled hunter opponents by forcing them into a melee fight like that.

Oh, and make sure you have engineering - there's plenty of fun stuff there (bombs, catseye goggles, the damage absorb belt, etc...) to add to your game.

1) Get Raz racing grips. Cost 22.5k exp to get, but don't quote me on that. Stamina is key in PvP where resilience can't be found.

2) Get another headpiece. Yeah, you already have that nice 9/9, but you never should have put it on without the head libram. 100 health or 8agility is pretty huge.

3) Iron collar is fine until the PvP one.

4) Get rid of serpent shoulders. They are decent, but mantle of thieves is much, much better. Since these are BOE, I'd get them after all your enchants.

5) Cloak is not bad for now, but engineering cloak with agil enchant is huge. Jumping down to mine or from LM to BS(with some added speed for takeoff) is huge in a game without mounts.

6) Belt is PvP. Get it when you can.

7) This is the big one. Triprunner fails completely vs petrolspill or trollsbane. While it does have a few more points of agility on it comparably, petrolspill and trollsbane can both get clefthide/nethercleft on them, boosting your stamina significantly. Most twink hunters I know have 2000-2200 health, so while you might devour some level 29s that are badly geared, any real twink will devour you just as easily.

8) I'll put these two together, but if you really want the edge, you need the Deadman's Hand ring and the Arena Grand Master trinket. AGM requires you to get 12 pieces from STV from a chest dropped inside the arena(which drops every 3 hours). Deadman's Hand requires multiple runs of SM library(?? I think)to get, as it has a low droprate. Don't worry, other than discovering the areas on the way to SM, you don't have to gain any EXP. Drop group, have your friend kill all the ones outside, and pick up group before your friend goes into the instance and you wait outside. Make him master looter, and make sure you have room in your bags. He kills the trash all the way to the boss, pulls him(without damaging him) all the way to the beginning. You hop into the instance, beat on him until he kills you, then your friend proceeds to kill him. He loots, and gives the loot to you. Do NOT rez until after you've made sure he either doesn't have it, or you have it in your bags. Just stay dead, and don't touch anything.

Edit: Oh yeah, get your dang first-aid up to 225. Heavy runecloth = 2000 health in 8 seconds. Even 1-2 250 health ticks can help swing the battle to your favor. Oh yeah, and only get enchants on your boots, bracers, and chest for now... and ONLY get the best ones. Having to pay for enchants 2 to 3 times on the same piece of gear is retarded.

Here. Try reaching this level.

Thank you for the VERY COMPLETE rundown of my gear..I KNOW that i still can't call my little dwarf a "twink" as I just got him there and slowly building him up.

One of these days, i wont run out of "Gs" to afford all the enchants and stop leveling other toon to really concentrate on him.

Again, thanks for your input...much appreciated.
