Guys,pls help me..

I'm pretty much good geared(t4 gear) and I have problems with hit rating in dps gear.I have around 2900 AP and only 50 Hit rating...


I know that cap is 142 but it looks unreachable to me.
Can I get some good advice pls?

Problem with hit rating is that even if you have 0 of it, you'd still gain more dps by gemming agility.

Can look at my armory to see where I got +hit. I am 3043AP 135hit 41%crit unbuffed.

I see you have an expensive justice badge vest, so I don't understand how a cheaper badge reward that offers +18 to hit isn't something you realize is available to you through badges. Get yourself a "choker of vile intent" the next time your shopping dps gear off the badge vendor.

Those pvp earned bracers can be great for dps and for tanking. Unfortunately, a 12stam gem kind of one sides them to a tanking piece. With 8agi or 4hit/4agi they are a bit more universal between both roles of tanking and dpsing. Not at all saying 12 stam is bad to put on your bracers, but you either need a new gem in that slot to help your role of dps while still allowing them to be useful for tanking, or you need whole new bracers specifically for dps.

The two pieces of Malorne you have that I can see are heavily oriented toward tanking roles. 16defense and 17 dodge (head piece) is great, but it's not helping your dps. Most dps helms should have 34AP and 16+hit instead. So again, you either need to redo your gear buff choice, or you need a new head piece specifically for dps. Same with your leg patch, stam/agi is for tanking... 50AP/12crit patch is for dps.

I'm going to stop there and simplify this down to a case of simply trying to mix/match your dps/tank gear too much. You really need dedicated pieces of gear for each role, some bleed over between the two roles of tanking and dpsing with your gear choices/gems/enchants is ok, but not so much that your tanking set is essentially your dps set or vice versa.

Don't get the helm from Gruul, Helm of the Claw (blue quest reward from SV) is better for a druid. So are a few other things don't involve spending DKP (or using whatever loot system your guild uses).

What it really comes down to is having separate gear for cat and bear. Some items/enchants/gems can work very well for both, others are better suited to one either tanking or DPS.

The 2t4 set bonus is good enough I wouldn't trade it for anything, except maybe 4t6. With 2.4 and 3 more pieces being added to t6, it won't be an issue then anyway. If you can find a helm w/ a meta socket, it will be better than most helms w/o thanks to RED. The BoJ rogueish helm is a good buy at 50 BoJ. Gotta go to work or I'd link it here.


Oh, and if you link Allah's DB instead of wowhead, you can see the item when you mouseover instead of having to follow the link.

Even if they are enchanted for tanking, 2 t4 set is still a lot better for DPS. It is just that good. Smart T6 druids still use t4 2 set for kitty dps over their t6 4piece, just to tell you how good it is.

BoJ = Badge of Justice, the helm is 50 badges, not 60.

Before I was asked to switch to resto, I was going to use gloves/shoulders for DPS, and have legs/helm/gloves for tanking, along with my S1 shoulders. The extra resil on the S1 would let me resocket and be uncritable with more stam, although losing the 4t4 armor bonus would suck. Guild is just skipping Mag. Actually, we're working on killing Vashj this week.

Exactly. Unless you are fully equipped in BT gear with T6, don't even consider not wearing 2 pieces of T4 for kitty DPS. The 2 piece bonuse is THAT good.
