60 PvP gear for PvE?Follow

Just wondering, If i end up getting the lvl 60 (marshall's) PvP gear set, would it last me a while in the PvE side of things too? (like to anywhere near lvl 70) and in the 67+ PvP world. Or would it just be better to stick with scouring AH and bugging guildmates to join me for runs thru different instances? I know the armor value starts to get outdone at about the lvl 66 mark, but would it be that big of a deal so long as the stats on the armor are better (the int+ and the equip bonus' etc)?

I was thinking that i should at least get the boots (go go speedy wolf mode!), But i'm not so sure about the others. I'll be getting all of my LvL 70 PvP gear first (only 200k more honor to go *shoots self in foot*), but if for some odd reason i stay at the 60 mark and spam AV's like there's no tomorrow for honor is it worth it to get the rest of the set? (because im assuming that the next bracket for AB, WSG and EoTS is 60-69 and i wont leech wins/honor/marks off of people)

Another few quick questions,

What would be the best gem's to put into the lvl 70 PvP set?
Should i use mace / shield combo for the extra armor buffs at 70, or should i go back to full enh and dual wield axes/maces? (/drool @ gladiator's shield wall)
