BM Weapon SpeedFollow
I was just curious as to what speed weapon is best for the various builds (BM, MM, SV, etc). I am BM and currently have the choice of two similar dps ranged weapons with similar stats as well. One is a 2.9 speed and the other is 2.5 Speed. Is there a minimum/max weapon speed that will maximize my dps? Thanks!
I'm not exactly sure what weapon speed will give the personal Ranged Attack speed of 1.7-1.9, but that is the ideal RAS for BM Hunters. For MM it's more like 2.3-2.5 so that they can get in their 3:2 or 1:1.5 shot rotations, same with SV.
I do know that the Wolfslayer Sniper Rifle is the second best gun in the game for BM Hunters and it has an attack speed of 2.6, whereas the Sunfury Bow of the Phoenix is much better for MM and SV Hunters with an attack speed of 2.9 (by no means is it bad for BM, but WSR is just better).

2.5 equals clipping, 2.9 equals dead space for BM.
Optimal speed pre-haste is 2.6-2.7 to get a speed of 1.8-1.9.

2.6/2.7 = BM (1:1 rotation)
2.9-3.0 = Surv/MM, OR BM doing a 3:2 rotation (most stick with 1:1)
2.8 = the awkward middle that's a slight damage loss for both BM and Surv/MM, but it's still pretty good for either.
