Does anyone know how much they are nerfing it?

It won't let me log onto the ptr for some reason so I can't test it myself.

from what ive heard from raid geared druids, this is a "grievous and uncalled for" nerf. supposedly one guy was losing like 144 hp per tick or something like that.

but ya, i cant test it myself, so i wouldnt really be able to say.

heres some nice numbers:

http://forums.worldofwarcraft.com/thread.html?topicId=4822933119&sid=1

basically, its a nerf, but strictly to pvp. for pve druids, the nerf coupled with the spr change amounts to an actual increase in power over live. in essence, if the lifebloom nerf hadnt go in, then the new spr changes would have made druids far and away the top healers just with lifebloom.

lifebloom alone has been nerfed, but lifebloom+spr change for a pve druid amounts to a nice buff.

From what I've read in that thread and from my own experiance I'ma have to go with it being a nerf. The spirit change is nice but druids didn't have mana issues in the first place.

Given that lifebloom is our most used and best scaling heal (most heal for least mana) I'm gonna be with the rest of the resto pve druid community when I say I'm upset over the lifebloom nerf.

ya, its a straight nerf to lifebloom, no doubt about it.

but as the OP in the test realm put it, if lifebloom hadnt been nerfed and the spr changes went in, that would make druid healers even stronger. so in essence, the lifebloom nerf was both a pvp fix and a pve adjustment, at least imo.

the people in that thread are kind of retarded.

their raid groups either suck or are poorly geared because i haven't even heard of a ToL druid going oom before everyone was dead first. and i personally regard regrowth as my main healing spell and use rejuv + lifebloom as patch heals and damage mitigation watching in case a swiftmend is needed.

it sounds like most druids there have been using the hot portion of lifebloom as their only source of healing, and that's just so ridiculous that i almost have to believe they're being serious! the only possible way i could believe it is if they let their paladins/shamans run away with themselves... if a raid leader divides healing responsibilities in an intelligent manner, there's no reason for flash healers to be stepping on a tree's toes, and no reason why a tree couldn't handle raid-spot-heals in their own way.

sure we're getting a tiny nerf, but i really don't think it's anything serious or nearly so drastic as the QQers would like to make it seem. for casual players, it's business as usual, and so far the nerf is only important to theory crafters who like to whine because their ****** raid groups can't organize their healing to be effective.

And I can't believe you seriously use regrowth as your main heal. It is by-and-large the most inefficient heal a druid has. So I would assume that you either have very limited raid healing experience, or your guild has progressed so far that rolling 4 lifeblooms on the tanks is unnecessary (doubtful). An intelligent raid leader has druids roll lifeblooms on tanks in order to mitigate spike damage in-between casted heals, and this nerfs that, some say 15-20%. The people in that thread just might know a bit more than you.

Perhaps you should read a bit more here.
