Table suggestionFollow

A new level 70 mage kinda lost it on the main forum complaining about folks demanding tables and what-not - I don't feel he was QQing though - he had a legit gripe. As such, I gave a suggestion that I hope all mages will take up to turn the proverbial tables on everyone who's ******** that mages are being cheap refusing to summon tables in BGs.

Tell folks that you will happily summon a table if they supply you with the material component.

They don't want to? Why - it's only 18s - why are they being so cheap? It's not like you're asking for a 10g tip or anything, just a miserable little 18s component you can buy from any reagent vendor. After all, they're a level 70 toon - they can easily earn 18s from killing a single Outland mob.

If every mage started making that demand in BGs, then folks would either stop pestering for tables or start slapping the component into your trade window right at the start.

Yeah, a table is only 18s, but we all know that most of the time one or two greedy bastards click the sucker dry before anyone else gets any, so why should you waste that money AND feel like a chump in the process?

summon a table cuz you'd rather win. or keep some waters made up and hand them out. 18s to aid in a victory...not a tough choice. 18s for a pally not say "i'm oom" when you need a heal.

its the same argument that noobs make when they see someone potting in BGs. "i woulda won if he didnt use a pot", well you didnt win did ya? some people are more dedicated than other.

if you're not willing to make a table or buff up then i dont want you in my battlegroup.

I don't want to BG with a pally to cheap/stupid to bring enough water to keep himself from going OOM.

So you're saying you're too cheap to spare 18s so the mage will summon a table to help your BG win? In that case, why would anyone want you?

See, cuts both ways.

Besides, most mages know, more often the not, the table gets cleared by one or two idiots that then anounce "LOL - I just ninja'd all the MBs!!!"

Well even if people did bring the regeant, they still have to be on your server to trade anything but conjured items. So you have to find someone who brings a regeant AND they are on your server.

Mage tables are a tremendous asset in BGs.

One stack of biscuits can sometimes last a whole day/session for my warrior or pally.

I always thank the mage that drops one.

My pally can easily run through 100+ symbols of kings (bought in stacks of 20) on a on a week night pvp'ing so that everyone in the BG can get a greater blessing (kings ftw). More on weekends, of course.

I do it for free, and I don't whine about it.

I do it for mages even if they don't drop a table.

I do it knowing that some will afk.

I do it even if some tard has been whining about getting a blessing before I can get to his class.

I like being a team player and haven't heard any good excuses not to be.

See, now that annoys me. And it's why I'm glad 2.4 is gonna limit the stacks to 4. However, 1 bombing run in Skettis will pay for 66 tables.

I fail to see how dropping them every BG is a problem(at least once 2.4 is out).

I do tables - so I don't have to listen to peoples QQ. Oh and to the guy saying kings ftw - I would WAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAY prefer a BoW. That's speaking from both my frost mages POV and my R. druid (whom I preffered BoW with even as feral). What kills me is not my lack of stam, but my lack of mana. when my mana goes to 0, my HP will soon be there as well... Ofc, if there's 2 pallas I'll more than gladly take your BoK, but my priority if there is only 1 palla, will always be BoW.
