Ok, so I've got a new hunter on Stormscale (EU). Orc, and I'm lovin' it (McDonalds!). However, I went through some numbers with Æthien the other day... and I concluded that Recount has merged my pet with me. What's somewhat interesting though, is that my leveling DPS is ~450... That's... pretty good, seeing as 500 is minimum for kara, and I'm 65 (!).
My instance DPS is around 550... and my boss DPS is, apparently, around 620 DPS. Does this sound too high to anyone else? I believe Recount is at least assimilating my damage done rightly, even if me being first on DPS meters by 35% total done might not always be the case.
Oh, and I don't use Macro's (I despise them) ;)

I saw stormscale, and I was about to put you on my KoS list... But you're on EU. I'm on US.
But 500+ DPS seems really really really unbelievably high with 1.1k AP and 15% crit with a few buffs.
Try SW stats, and see what that says. You can also give Damage Meters and Combat Stats a try. I've never seen different damage meters give the same exact results.

Got Recap, Recount and SW stats going. SW stats shows same DPS as Recap: a little over 400 while leveling and a little over 500 on Torgos fight (I popped all CD:s but was still kiting quite a bit when my pet was incapacitated. Haven't been able to try it in instances yet, because my comp is ultimate suckage atm.
Thoughts around this? Am I just really really 1337?

sounds pretty 1337 to me, but then I don't get 500 DPS on my main

even with pet damage included, and counting the numbers you gave me, it still seems damn high...
It does seem high, but not completely unreasonable. How about giving us a WWS of a fight? Some dps meters measure dps differently, due to what time value they use. (ie: moving around and not shooting does or doesn't count)

Total DPS from Pet and Hunter at 500? High? I just don't see how that can be seen as high, Pets can do as much as 250 DPS with TBW up, which means he only has to do 250 to be at that number.
