So, after that damn Holy Pally left the server I never found another arena team until recently.

Last week I joined a new guild, (new for me and newly formed) which after 2 weeks of forming full cleared Kara first run through (I was in it, but on my Shammy). They got my Warr into a 5v5 and a Mage in the guild offered my Hunter a spot on her 2v2. I joined up, and she grabbed her rogue, got her into the team, and we did some 2v2.

God it had been so long since I had played on my hunter that I had some severe dust to rub off. We lost all but 1 game that week out of our 10 games. Yes the rogue in the team is in all blues, but the better blues avail. It had been forever since either of us had played our respective toons.

This week we finally figured things out after 2 losses and started winning some of the games. We ended at our 10 games with a 50% win, only upping our rating by 40 points, but better than it had been.

I finally bought [item]Vengeful Gladiator's Chain Gauntlets[/item]. My first Arena set piece and I am stoked as hell to get them! Been forever since Sull has seen an armor upgrade!

Just thought I would share my moment of enjoyment!

Yes, cause I cannot find a guild that 1) raids my time and 2) is not full of dumbasses. Found one though :D

Tried a bit arena the last days and I found a really nice 3v3 combo which suited us very well.

Priest, Holy Pally and Hunter. We started at a 1481 rating and played a 13:1 series up to 1664 rating with that team.
Basically a drain team with a lot of counters to CC.
It is all about outlasting your opponent.
Hunter keeps pressure high on the opposing healer (and drains some mana from a mana class, preferably the healer).

A two healer setup who can both decurse fear and sheep is a really funny setup and most opponents seem to ignore the hunter when they see two healers (which is great for dealing some serious DPS). If this trend continues, I think about fighting in my PvE equip for higher dps and better burst damage.
