You could also go for either the bauble that you get from a quest reward in netherstorm (kill a 'rare' 72 elite and turn it in, +26 spellhit and an on-use ability). Quags + Icon is a great combo though, just work on getting your spellhit about 40 higher. I saw that you gemmed quite a bit with +crit and other gems, you don't need to match the gem colors, you just will not get the slow bonus. Regem those with +4hit/+5dmg gems and that should help you out a bit (or even +8hit).

Good old fashioned bomber trink with 32 spell hit. cant go wrong.

you will need revered rep with the scryers, but thats a fairly simple endeavor.

In the Ethereum Staging Grounds there is a Congealed Void Horror. Kill it, it drops an item to start the quest "The Horrors of Polution" the trink is a reward.

Starkiller's Bauble is the trink.
