+ Shadow DamageFollow

How much + shadow damage does a Affliciton warlock need for SSC or TK.
I have 130 spell hit and 1005 spell damage and my GM tells me that is not enough. Is this correct or is it a something he is telling me to leave me out of raids?

You really need to get some more spell hit to be doing SSC or TK.

it is perfectly fine to go scc/tk with these stats, especially if you
have specced into malediction.

Keep in mind that your goal is to achieve 202 spellhit, but
it is not a "must have before entering a raidinstance"

Would be helpful if you´d link your armory to us.

Sorry forgot this is me

http://eu.wowarmory.com/character-sheet.xml?r=Dentarg&n=cadi

I guess my spell hit is more then enough because I have 5 points in Suppression as far as wowwiki goes I need around 76 spell hit. But I keep it a little high because I use shadowbolts between dots.

Now to my gear. Got some blues not bad ones. Had to replace a epic with a blue better stats and stuff.

I know I should do more kara and grull but I dont think I would be a complete loss in a SSC or TK raid

If you´d allow me, i´d like to optimize your talenbuild abit for more boom!^^
It woul look something like that(without malediction):

http://www.wowhead.com/?talent=IAMrVRfkVtboMxZxx0z

and this(whit malediction):
http://www.wowhead.com/?talent=IAMrVRfzVtcoMxZxx0z

Whatever you do, do not spend more points into surpression than you have to.
Surpression is a temporary talent you pick while going after 202 spellhit.
So no excuse in having more points into surpression than needed.

Try to get exalted with the Cenarian Expedition for the ring called Ayshens Gift, i believe.
Get the PvP-Bracers, they are fairly cheap and they are awesome.
Also you could/should replace your belt with the belt of blasting.

130 hit and 5/5 suppresion is a waste of 2-3 talent points. move them to somewhere else. also suppression is NOT a replacement for +hit. it only affects afliction spells and SB will still make up for up to 60% of your damage as an afliction.

/agree

Your +hit is what's really holding you back, I have almost that much and I'm not even really into Kara content yet.

I like the builds but I dont think fel concentration will benefit the raid. And with out destructive reach I will have to get very close when I cast a shadowblots.

the decreased range only makes a difference for a few bosses. otherwise the only difference is that you need to carry on running for 1-2 more seconds at the start of the encounter. after that you just move around within the 30yrd range and it's no issue.
range increase is in the end, primarily a pvp talent. the 'benefit' gained in pve is simply a bit more leniancy on your raid position.
