Other than that I got 3 6.8k fireballs in a row on some trash in SSC

Any SSC/TK raiding fire mage has seen +1k ticks many times.
I've also seen +2k ticks as well, and I'm not nearly as geared as many of the people out here.
I don't think I have ever seen +3k ticks on a normal mob (no curator, fire vuln, etc)..
The last 20% of the fight when I pop all trinkets my fireballs hit for around 6.5kish...Molten Fury FTW!

542 on a poor lvl 36 warrior, my mage was full frost, lvl 35 at that point :>

well since rolling ignites are now gone (and have been for a while) mine is probably in the 2k range somehow.
aw! now mine looks all weak maybe after I get some pvp gear
If you crit for 5k you should see ignite tick for 1k (20% of 5k is 1,000) I think I have seen a tick for 2,038 after having two crits back to back.
I never really have a *Massive crit* as a frost mage.
In pvp versing people with 350+ resi I crit FB for about 3k and then another 2.2k ice lance while they are frozen, which basically kills them if they start with lower health.

Roughly 7K on a random mob in Terrokar with a Frostbolt, but this was with all the *** I could muster. Trinkets, Arcane Power, Frost Nova to guarentee the Crit, flaks, oil, food buff, etc. My mouth dropped. Granted, I hardly raid at all, and don't have the best of gear, so I felt pretty accomplished by it.

Surprisingly, my largest crit was in a AB. Defending stables as a full Frost mage. in comes a Warrior and Druid. I of course say to myself " Crap, I am so done for", then I decide that I will at least get a shot or two off before the imminent death.
I trinket, Icy Veins, etc. Druid is charging me, while Warrior gloatingly caps the flag. I blink, land next to Warrior, FN, do a jump routine to gain a bit of distance, FB. The FB lands, 3457 crit. Warrior blinks at me in astonishment, Druid drops bear to HoT, and I maliciously sheep him.
I died like 4 seconds later from Warriors MS crit, but was a satisfying conclusion.

My highest crit was over 9k, but that was on the mechonolord in Mech so i dont know if that counts.
although im sure with AH type quick bonus to spell and a few more charges stacked on the mage im sure we can reach around 15k in one shot

It's an internet meme. I'd imagine it was popularized on 4chan, but you see it a lot in the OOT here.
