biggest crit is about 2250 with 40/20 spec level 67

My biggest crit was 10.3k on Curator during his Evocation Phase, so that doesn't really count.

16k on Curator in evo phase with a AP/trink/PoM/Pyro and 1300 dmg. ( i had no business being in Kara)
On a mob was a AP/PoM/Pyro for around 7k
In pvp was a AP/PoM/Pyro on a huntard in 2v2 (he had crap gear, was a crap team in the 1300s) for 6800.... with a 2k FB at the same time. Insta death as I'm popping out of invis.

14k on either Curator or the first boss in heroic Mech, I can't remember which.

2551 Frostbolt crit against a firewing Blood elf ... Frostbite proc'd and I followed it with a 2300 crit ... poor guy ... didn't know what hit him, he died where he had been standing ;-)
I have a buddy who crit Curator with a 22k Pyro ... but that wasn't me, so it doesn't count.

Im currently averaging 3,500 crits as a 10/48/3 fire mage...
Frost mage here, got a couple of 12.5k crits on curator yesterday during evocate.
On normal fights the highest crits I see are around the 5k mark, but I think that's dependant on me having trinkets up and various things proccing.

I crit for 24.5k against the first boss in heroic mech, I believe around 16k on curator during evocate, 8.5k against a boglord in ssc, and my current average raid crits are around 4.5-5k.
big crits... maybe I will reroll now that I can get around 450+dmg thanks for the posts I wana kill stuff in one hit

I do love that fight though. Just one other matching charge and my basic frostbolts crit for 6k. I get a little warm inside just thinking about it.

it would be cool if they had some kind of heroic 40man raids same items better drop rait that way there would be end game stuff for everyone

25 men means that more people have to be active and more on the ball, with 40 a few people could be slackers and no one would ever notice.

What's the difference from now for hunters? spamming their 1 macro won't require you to look at the screen...
Oh and FYI, the gap in gearlevel was bigger pre TBC, so no, all 40 man would have to do their best, at least in BWL, AQ and Naxx (and MC before ZG got introduced), or else it would lead to a misreable FAIL. TBH in TBC the instances are so closely geared, that it's only the fewer numbers that forces people to play properly...

In BWL back pre-TBC, we had 8 or so folks who sucked so bad that they would have been more useful AFK in the corner and we still had no problem downing Vael. Believe me, back then, a good chunk of your raid could fail hardcore and you'd still down bosses.
Can't say anything about raids beyond that, but I have heard that the same level of fail could be maintained and you'd still down things until late AQ40.

in a heroic ramps run, i once totaled 60% of the group's dps...

My personal best is 15k fireball on Curator as 33/28 mage with around 700 spell damage unbuffed. The pom pyro before it hit for measley 4k.

Critline says 3144 on Tusker. This is with 5 scorches stacked, and trinket. Level 67, 0/54/3 bonus spell damage is 380

The largest hit ive got on the curator was a PoM/AP/trinket frost bolt for 17k. And ive (just me) done over 100k damage to him in a single Evocation.

About 29k on the first boss in Heroic Mech. Was arcane missiles and each one critted for 5900. Was me and two other with the same buff. The tank (one of the three) was trying to flame me for stacking the buff on him. He didn't have much to say when I had him check his combat log.
Other then that, 7.2k pyroblast (not counting the ignite portion) on trash in Slave Pens.

What's your biggest Ignite tick, though? Anyone see Ignite ticks in the quadruple digits post-rolling ignites, and NOT on Curator during Evocation?
