From here:

"Nurturing Instinct increases your healing spells by up to 50/100% of your Agility, and increases healing done to you by 10/20% of your Attack Power while in Cat form."

So, what'll you dump now to take NI? I'm thinking I'll say bye bye to Thick Hide, since I don't tank anyway.

ETA: Sorry I didn't see SirJac's post til later. I don't read generally jump at stuff that's labeled "PVP."

thick hide is awesome, so i think id drop primal tenacity in lieu of NI. its just looking too good from a pvp perspective.

PvE? Brutal Impact. PvP? You're asking the wrong drood...

I don't have primal tenacity in the first place (as I don't PVP). I started putting my last 3 points into thick hide even though I don't tank, because they had to go someplace, and I all but flipped a coin between that and intensity. I'm not saying TH isn't good, I just don't think it's more useful for me than NI will be now.

I can see where this change would primarily be a boost to PVP, but I think it'll be very nice for PVE too, particularly soloing, since you get twice the goodness for healing yourself. I wear one piece of healing gear right now when I solo to keep my panic buttons in good working order. With this, I can probably swap out that necklace for something more, you know, feral.

Edited after seeing AstarintheDruid's post: I would sooner give up cupcakes than Brutal Impact!

You never tank?

Like, ever? Never ever? Soo.. your guild brings you along as pure DPS? No wearing OT gear in case of an emergency?

No, I never ever tank. I play plenty, but only for an hour or two at a stretch, so I very very rarely get into instances. When I do it's with other characters besides my druid, because I insist on staying feral (love the solo play so much) but despise tanking, and I'm starting to get to the level where you really want your healer specced for it.

As for my "guild," I don't play with them much either. They keep me around mostly for my kickass chocolate chip cookies. We're all family. :)

Wont give you a ton of increased heals while soloing except maybe from LotP. You need to be in cat form to recieve the bonus, and that won't help you when you pop HT.

itll suck for HT, but itll make the quick regrowth > rejuv > lifebloom > cat form switch during or after combat all that more powerful.

however, ive heard they may have nerfed NI in some way on the PTR, altho i cant exactly find how they nerfed it. ill get back to yall when i get some hard numbers.
