I am doing some group quests in Netherstorm and up to now did not come accross good hunter rewards. Same in Shadowmoonvalley.

Am I missing something, or are there just no good quest rewards for hunters in these two area's?

I always look at gear with stamina/agility/intellect and attack power and there are not many items like that Smiley: disappointed

I suggest using your armory page to find upgrades. However yeah, there's not too many worthwhile quest rewards. There is a decent leggings quest reward from killing the bosses in Karadan. However they don't equal what you'll get from running instances.

Stalkers helm of second sight is the only one i can think of, but i never quested in netherstorm, as i dinged 70 in SMV. There is also a bow that comes from there too, dont remember what it is called.

Bloodwarder's Rifle from the BT attunement chain is a questreward from SMV and the best pre-raid weapon for BM hunters.

I considered "Mama's Insurance" to be an upgrade rifle due to VERY fast firing rate. It's from a fairly simple goblin chain of quests out of Area 52. I still have it and am comparing it to Valanos' Longbow in PvP. For an MM hunter like me, it gives you near BM firing rate. For a BM hunter, it would be a total waste: too fast. Haven't come to a conclusion yet on the PvP thingy.

A good (but not as good as above) bow is easily had from the quest "Number 5 is Alive" available from Alley, in the Dranei ruins north of Area 52. The bow is "Alley's Recurve". A one quest upgrade but I'd go for the gun as fast as possible in the area over the bow.

If you are blazing to 70, there is really not much for you once you hit 70. At that point it's either arena for the S3 axe and some easier to get gear or start raiding/instancing for upgrades.

the slower the better for pvp.
Slow means hard hitting, hard hitting means awesome in pvp.
#8REDACTED, Posted: Feb 20 2008 at 9:08 PM, Rating: Sub-Default, (Expand Post) from what i know apparently, there aren't many "hunter" gear in quest rewards in outlands . most of it was made to accomodate both hunters and enh shammys but as one of the other posters said, karazhan has some good hunter drops (sunfury i believe and legacy are a few) and the instances are also a good way to go for some easy to grab gear :)

Dude this has been stated on serveral posts all over the forums and they made more sense. If you actually look at some of the rewards there's a lot of good hunter items. Aethien has proved me wrong on that a long time ago.

Every time you post it leads me to believe further and further that you don't have the slightest clue what you are talking about.

I'm getting into T5 content and I'm STILL using that. Sometimes I even favor that thing over Garona's Signet ring from Curator.

There are also a pair of leather pants from an A52 quest.

Leveling other Toons/Proffesions?

While you got your Epic Flying mount I got my Warr to level 70.

I now have a Lvl 70 MM Hunter, Lvl 70 Ele/Resto Shaman (changes every month), and a 70 Arms/PvP Warr

so :P
