HasteFollow

I'm looking into upgrading my gloves through the badge reward system. Should i go with the mail hunter/shaman gloves or the leather ones with haste on them. What is everyone's experience with haste and how much do i need to really make it work?

Well, haste isn't necessary but it does help you. It just speeds up your attacks.

I know what haste is. i am simply asking if it benefits us like it does rogue. Does anyone have some math on the subject?

Well, of course is benifits us. The more attacks in a smaller amount of time is more damage in a smaller amount of time.

Honestly i didnt think i would have to spell it out like this.

Gauntlets of Sniping
20 agility
27 stamina
20 intellect
Yellow Socket
Red Socket
Socket bonus +6 AP
Increases hit rating by 19
Increases AP by 58

Trickster's Stickyfingers
30 agility
28 Stamina
Increases haste rating by 25
Increases AP by 68

128 AP on Gauntlets of sniping with the gems i would add, not to mention the added AP from intellect with the MM talent.

122 on Stickyfingers. So is the haste rating enough to sacrifice some AP, Hit rating and 20 intellect? (armor does not matter much to me)

Link armory and we can help, without that its impossible to say wether haste will help you or not.

20 int is a big thing, at least to me. Haste is a nice bonus but IMO the mana is more important.

If you want my honest answer, since T4 gloves are so easy to get, and better, i'd wait for those and use badges on something else >_>

Yeah, sorry about my posts not making any sense there. Although I could have explained it in one detailed post if I had an armory to look at and see if you needed haste. (As Aethien said above)

Save your BoJ. With 2.4 come some amazing items.

While the information and rumors from 2.4 start to become more firm, the smart money is to play very conservatively. Save your Arena, Honor, and BoJ and you might be in a great position to jump on some very sweet items soon after release. Spend yourself down and that's just more time it'll take to collect those things again while you and your Guilds will be focused on learning the new content.

But if you're dead set on spending the BoJ you have now, the better item will definitely depend on your current gear and Talent spec. It's most likely that the haste piece won't be better than the other, unless you've got a decent amount of HR from other items. But no one can say one is better than the other in a vacuum.

BM hunters are often advised not to go for haste, since they've got narrow Shot Rotations already without it.

Well he said he is MM. I would save you BoJ like the others said, that little haste isnt gonna make a difference.
