"Shiv" buildFollow

I know, sounds crazy doesn't it? Just hear me out real quick.

That is the build pretty much, your standard combat swords build. It's based on poisons and CPs (1.5 speed or lower OH) obviously, but in a few different ways:

-Double instant poison for quick damage, most likely in pvp against plate wearers
-Double deadly poison for big envenoms, most likely for pve
-1 deadly, 1 instant for a dot and quick damage, most likely for pve

The whole idea is to proc combat potency for a nearly endless cycle of shivs, combo points, and poisons which cant be mitigated easily. I know it may sound like a horrible idea, but I can't get it out of my head, the thaught of having dual instant against a warrior and just eating through their health like paper.

Any thaugts or criticism to help get this out of my ead once and for all?

Believe it or not, this has been hashed and re-hashed several times over the past year or so.

Shiv build worked for the whole of like, a month, and a rogue or two got close to 2k with it back in late S1 and S2.


You could do better with practically ANY other build.


The build sounds fun and nice, but you will see it just won't deliver.

Ahhh, well, thank you all for clearing that up. It seemed like an interesting idea at best, but not quite viable. I had no idea this had been thaught of before.
