No self respecting Lock goes without the dreadsteed. Its bar none the baddest looking ground mount out there.

My Warlock is level 70, has all the materials needed for the summoning, but is riding around on a regular epic horsie.

Why? Because everyone and their friends are raiding in Outland or whacking each other over the head in the Arenas or Battlegrounds. No one is interested in Dire Maul anymore.

They should make it soloable, at least for a level 70, but make it so people need their own materials to summon it. The materials cost enough to make it fair.

QFT

I have a 68 'lock friend who just can't get a team to do dire maul and our guild is just pathetic. We tried duoing it, but we're not quite sure where to find the circle (we think it's by Immol'thar). Once we get some guildies to higher levels we'll work on it.

If you want someone to help you with the Dreadsteed, look at this thread. If you have all the mats and are willing to help someone get it, even if you haven't got it yet yourself, put your name on the list in that thread.

Hehe, two nights ago I had my 'lock whom I deleted two years ago restored because the more I thought about it, I asked myself why I'd level up a new 'lock when I already have one complete with his Dreadsteed. A 'lock running around Outland half-geared in crappy pre-BC 40-60 greens/blues (I'm still wearing Jumanza grips from ZF) with his Dreadsteed and dying a lot (still getting readjusted to all the hotkeys, DoT rotations etc). I'm sure people are thinking I ebayed the account. :x

2 70 locks and a dam good healer can complete the needed run in DMwest.
even easier 1 70 prot warrior 1 70 lock and 1 decent/competent healer can do it.

for a lil challenge 1 arms/fury warrior 1 lock and a buttload of bandages/healthstones can take it.

really at 70 there is no reason a lock shouldnt have this mount.

working on dreadsteed now. I think I've done enough run thrus for guildies they should at least do this in return. I guess it would suck if you weren't in a decent guild. But I shouldn't have a problem with this. Finally getting into my lock again. haven't played since I hit 60...
