Rogue Talent Build / HELPFollow

#1 Feb 18 2008 at 4:16 AM Rating: Decent
Ok, i am a new player and i createdd this build a while ago with the idea to PvP A LOT !!! I want to be good at both hand to hand combat and high damage finishers (if thats possible :P) , so heres my build ! (ill post my questions below)

ASSASINATION -
-improved eviscerate 3/3
-malice 5/5
-ruthlesness 3/3
-improved backstab 3/3
-rentless strikes 1/1
-lethality 5/5
-cold blood 1/1
-quick recovery 1/2

COMBAT-
-improved gouge 3/2
-improved sinister strike 2/2
-deflection 5/5
-precision 5/5
-riposte 1/1
-improved sprint 2/2
-dagger specialization 4/5
-dual wield specialization 4/5

SUBTLETY-
-master of deception 3/5
-opportunity 5/5
-dirty tricks 2/2
-improved ambush 3/3

Ok, this is it...Now the questions-
1.I want to rely on many Ambusheds and Backstabs in PvP , can i be effective with these two without "Shadowstep" (replace it with stuns) ???
2.I removed some points from here and there to be able to get "improved Sprint" and "Quick recovery" (for pvp)- is that a good idea ?
3.Is a rogue effective in PvP without his poisons ? If i use this build i wont have any "poison talents" (i think ill use only "Crippling poison" for the movement speed reduction and i dont like using many DOTS...).
-im using daggers
-second hand weapon doesent matter for me

If u have any ideas or suggestions on how to make the build better , please post them here !!!

(sorry for the bad english)

no

a) You can still use poisons w/o poison boosting talents
b) Why in the world would you only use crip?

You don't like DOTs, so do you not use rupture and garrote in PvE as well?

we really need an "I just had a small aneurysm from stress" smiley

No.. that is more of a "you are an alleged designer, but I am concerned because what you are making is complete shite."

Well you see... those that have never seen him in action, *may* just put the aneurysm in perspective with his "thoughtful" face.

I'm sorry, but just looking at that build it looks like it's all over the place.

3. You don't need poison talents to know how to make poisons. You just have to do the assigned quest. Why just crippling poison? As a rogue, people shouldn't be able to get away from you quickly anyway. Even if they do, if you have a DoT on them, they'll eventually die, especially if you have taken most of their life(unless they have poison cleansing).

Don't put down the other poisons, because they're all pretty useful in certain situations.

As for the OH weapon not mattering... actually it does. It all depends on what you're working toward.

For those of us who are more visual learners... here is radditzgt's build: http://www.wowhead.com/?talent=fhecox0ooZG0EzbnZAM0c

This is in all probability one of the WORST builds I have ever seen. I would have to say that if you really want to use daggers you should just go with a Mutilate build. Going with a hybrid build like that is going to horribly and violently cripple you. Seeing builds like that makes me hate emo kids even more. Now just because of you I have to go kill 3 Emos.
