Been demo spec'd since day one, and do enjoy it, but I wonder if there is something better. I've heard that affliction is a strong tree for dps, but how does that hold up in just PVE questing?
I think the one thing that i really like about being demo spec'd is having my buddy felguard but also being able to switch out demons as needed.
So if people think that demo is a good lvling spec, what is a good tree to compliment it, affliction or destruction?

IMO affliction and demonology are the two best levelling specs. They are about equal, its just they have different playstyles. Affliction juices the 'lock up and demo juices the pet up.
Affliction is for people who want control. Demo is for people who want to just sit back and relax in solo.
Now, I can't say anything about destro, but I can infer it's a lot like a mage (can you say OOM <bam> dead?).
I would suggest demo for an easy ride and affliction for some fun.

If you want to be able to run in and throw your 3 instant dots on everything in the room (SL, CoA, corrup) and have everything die with you still rocking half your life then affliction is the way to go. I of course am somewhat partial to affliction and this method :)

Sorry, but letting your pet do everything while you just sit there with your thumb up your *** is not a demonology playstyle.

Because sitting there and letting your pet do a good 60% of the damage actually IS a Demonology playstyle... a very popular one at that.
I believe its called Felnub, it's an Icelandic word... I believe it means Whale's ******.

...and leaving the mob with 40% health while you still have that thumb where sunlight doesn't reach = 100% dead. If you're leveling, you don't get your Whale's ****** until you get to 50, minimum.

lol... since it is a 41 point talent, you can't get it till then. It's not useful though till around 57 or 58 when you get all it's skills.
