I am need help with my talent treeFollow

I am leaning to a fire mage, but wanting to make sure I am choosing the right talent tree for what I want in the end. So before I unload my points in a tree what exactly is an Arcane Mage? Is it a combo of Fire and Ice? Or is it all it's own? My objection is I want to leave an impression when I attack something. I want it to feels it and not know what has happened.

Arcane is a different tree commonly used for adding utility to the other two major trees. If you want to use the most amount of firepower, with the expense of not being able to survive as well when faced with larger packs/etc then fire is the way to go.

Well in the end if you wanna fight something and leave a mark, than the biggest mark you can leave would be going arcane, and than putting 11 points into fire for pyroblast that'll hit harder than anything else in game. And its instant to boot.

That is my objection as well XD

I believe the most firepower you will get is going deep into the Fire tree, as Anobix has inferred. My suggestion would be to use a mix of deep fire with enough arcane tree to get to presence of mind. Presence of Mind and Pyroblast together are a wonderful thing to behold, although you only see it once per 3 minutes.

I think it would be helpful to know your current level and maybe the kind of gear you have. If you are leveling a mage, I recommend fire. The single target DPS is simply insane.

You can deal immense amounts of damage with any spec, but nevertheless the spec makes a big impact.

Arcane will, with adequate gear, give you a mana pool and damage output like no other. The downside? Even with the large mana pool you'll still drain yourself constantly.

Arcane will also give you good utility talents and upgrades for utility spells. The "look" of Arcane is raw energy, as opposed to Fire or Frost (ice, cold wind and water). Pink and purple energy bursts everywhere!

Fire will give you great DoTs, insane crit and some very good accompanying spells, as well as what is probably the most powerful spell in the game: Pyroblast. Not only can you hammer targets with great damage, you can also watch 'em roast on the after-effects.

Frost can deal insane damage, but it takes better gear and good use of the Water Elemental to unlock its true potential. Comboing with Fire and Arcane spells doesn't hurt, either. The true power of Frost is survivibility. Mages are often known as "glass cannons". Frost mages? Stone cannons.
