Hey guys, I'm prot for tanking, but I still enjoy jumping into a BG every once and awhile. So, I was wondering what type of gear I should use for PvP? Should I slap on some PvP gear, or stick with my regular tanking outfit? Thanks for your help.
Start collecting as much gear with block value as you can. If you do that and switch out any non block value gear you have with gear with loads of crit and use a slow 1 hand weapon, you can really tear it up in bgs. Though if you use your standard tanking set, you can defeat pretty much any melee class 1 on 1.

you can give some casters headaches as well. i remember messing around in AB and setting upon a lock with 15 seconds left for the win. i more or less kept him locked out of most of his spells with intercept stun, concussion blow and shield bash, and used spell reflect whenever it was up for his shadow bolts. i almost had the sucker down when i had to get up and answer the door real quick.
What I tend to do is cause as much hate and discontent as I possibly can. With my high health pool and uncritability (I hope I just made that word up), I can hold them off while the DPS'rs clear them out. Plus, in AV, someone has to tank Drek.
Prot wars as FC in wsg = best if the other team turtles.
