its sort of a guide/warrior leveling analysis. the OP took exhaustive pains to measure the leveling power of the three "main" warrior leveling specs (2h arms, 2h fury, DW fury) and thoroughly documents the methods and results of each warrior while also maintaining a homogenous stat sampling across each of the three warriors (talents and enchants notwithstanding).

its a very interesting, but a very long read. ultimately, with the proper enchants, it seems that DW fury is the way to go overall, with 2h fury and 2h arms roughly tied for second.

I read that a few days back on tankspot, definitely interesting to say the least. Here's the source page. Mordok's Leveling Analysis.

lol 30 secs in i can see he's going to confirm what i posted here last year:

if you have the gold to spend on enchants, gear, and consumables and do, in fact, spend it, dw fury is the ****.

* from Level 40 to Level 70 the DW warrior is running dual Crusader enchants. Some may view this as overpowered. For me, this is completely acceptable, and simply using one of the big advantages of dual wield.

Basically, yeah. DW fury with gold to spend, and it sounds like 2H fury if not. Regardless, it was a good read. I'm right there with you axhed. I probably spend more time reading and theorycrafting about things in game than I actually do anything else when it comes to WoW. Kinda bizarre.

well, you can't really argue with the base miss rates of each spec, and that's what myself and a lot of other people were going off of. even then, just as it's said above, you need to spend quite a bit of money on dual wield crusaders and blue weapons if you want to make dual wield fury your leveling spec. for those of us without the money, 2h arms is good until level 32 when you pick up 2/2 imp slam, at which point you can pick up 2h fury.

Without a question Fro. However I think the main thing is to keep nice updated blue weapons, which are easily attainable from instances for every bracket. I never chanted crusader, fiery weapon is cheap and incredibly OP imo at the lower lvs. However if you don't instance then yea, it's going to be alot harder. And even thou I had a blast leveling d/w fury and I lvd quite quickly, IT IS annonying at times when that mob has 5% life and you miss 8 swings in a row.....

It's obvious this guy isn't a genius at warriors... C'mon, dual crusaders in a leveling build? That's increasing your max +str with +50% with each proc... Sure, if he was writing a twink leveling guide, but as it is now; this is not very accurate in common warrior cases.

Valid point, but he also doesn't every say that this guide is aimed at someone starting from scratch. He pretty regularly says that he is aiming the guide at speed leveling a warrior, and most people are only doing that with toons once they already have a main, and are trying to get something else up. It's not unreasonable to assume they're be running things like Crusader on their weapons given that sort of situation. I know the rogue I'm leveling up right now will have crusader.

i'm just a hunter, lol, but i want to speed level my own warrior, this is my first toon on my own account (i've been playing on my friends cpu and twinked a hunter with my guild master's help, all hail betsyross on balnazzar she twinked me for just being in her guild) and i still want to speed level him just so i can make some money for really playing the game the fun way with other characters. the co-posts of this guide helped me decided to go w/ arms until thirty two, w/ 2H weapons. what do u guys think?

52 druid morvack- balnazzar
21 lock ikillaliance- balnazzar
14 druid morvackea- balnazzar
