I've been looking at a numbers of endgame fights such as archimonde and late BT bosses and most of the time the vids show mages fight with arcane blast and arcane missiles.
What spec might they be using and most of all, why ?
We're half-way though bt and hyjal and fire spec imo really does the job.

Probably from before they removed the damage tax and the simultaneous nerf to the MSD and TLC. Back then, once you had 2pc T5, Arcane became the most insane damage.
