GREEN outline around my wandFollow

Im sure a lot of you might know the answer, but I honestly dont ^.^ I have a 47 warlock and on my shooting range box at bottom right I have my wand but its highlighted green around the square. And there's no way I can use my wand. Now I dont use it often but it's a lil' irritating. No one in my guild has any idea what it is.. any help..advice? Thank you so much in advance!

Oaken, I get what you're saying, but it's a little misleading. Your paperdoll is usually the character panel you get from hitting the C button. Your Spellbook is what you get when you hit P.

It means that you have your actual wand on the bar, and not the skill to use it. When you drag an equipped item onto the bar, like a trinket or other "Use: effect" item, it tries to trigger an effect of the item. You need to use the "shoot" skill from the general tab in your Spellbook.
