Trade skill?Follow

#1 Feb 16 2008 at 9:10 PM Rating: Decent
Just thought I'd ask, what's a good set of tradeskills for a holy paladin? The higher-level blacksmithing items don't look too useful, but I dont know a whole lot about engineering either. So would it be worth it to pick up herb/alch or just herbalism? I'm trying to consider both money-making and end-game usefulness, just want some extra input.

Enchanting is pretty useful. It makes getting mats together for enchants that much easier. Personally Im enchanting herb for the cash.

yeah, enchanting is good. the +healing enchant to rings is one of the longest lasting advantages any profession can give you. pretty much any other professions bop's can be replaced, but even when all gear has been passed what bs'ing, engineering or whatever can get you, the +healing to rings will be useful. then i'd take a gathering prof for the cash... or you can get jewelcrafting for the bop gems. it's the one other prof that has bop's that can't be replaced. just a thought.

I just swapped over to enchanting too. +40 healing (+20 on each ring) is nice. Plus, you don't have to go find an enchanter everytime you get new gear.

I previously had BS, and also found it couldn't really do squat for me.

For making money - Herb or Mining.

Engineering: Goggles (also about to become Ubergoggles @ 2.4)

Enchanting: +20 healing to each ring

That's what I went with at least.
