Warlock returning with some questions.Follow

Hello everyone, I have been reading the allakhazam forums for a few days now and felt like coming back to World of Warcraft. I had quit a little bit before BC came out and had returned again but left but am back once again.
I have my warlock up to 50 currently with around 100gold. I have on him around 120 +shadow dmg with a spec with felguard. I plan on finishing up my way to 60 in Azeroth and then heading to the outlands then instead of 58.
I was wondering if I should keep my current gear.. the shadowweave set and keep felguard or if I should switch to a set of stam/int and go affliction. I really liked being able to kill endlessly as affliction but dont know if I would be good affliction with all of my +shadow dmg since I took a hit on stam for it and drain tanking would be harder.

Another thing I was wondering is since it can be kind of hard to get people to do old dungeons and I dont know many people if i should bother trying to get our class mount or just pick up a skeleton horse from vendor... or if I should just save for flying mount in Outlands.

Thanks for any future advice.. btw here is link to armory.

For levelling, I'd have to recommend Felguard from 56 (?) onwards. Don't worry about your gear at the moment, it'll all be replaced in Outlands.

thats a bad noobie, affl leveling swamps demo.

people see demo as the equivalent to BM for leveling, but they are wrong.

Demonology sucks for levelling before 56, and after that if you don't have the essential talents for it, but I breezed through the levels I had it for (56-67, respecced to Affliction to get used to the playstyle).

think of it this way.

aflicion: tab+dot up to 5-6 mobs of equal / 1-2 levels above you and come out with roughly 80% hp and mana at the end at worst (if you're good at the draining/aoe fearing/chucking in rank.1 drain soul to get mana back)

felguard: pet can't tank more than 3 mobs for any remotely long period of time without dieing to fast; you have to heal pet constantly and you're likely to end up with lower hp and mana than an afliciton build after just taking out 2-3 mobs at the same time of equal level.

afliction > all for leveling speed and efficiency.

Exactly. There's a reason people respec affliction to farm.
